Ethix Management provided sound, lighting and power for the TUC rally in Hyde Park, which saw over 150 000 people march into the park for a meeting on March 26 against the government cuts. Guest speaker included David Milliband and a host of senior union representatives. Ethix installed 36 boxes of EV XLC, 16 of which were on delay towers and a lighting rig to give maximum coverage over the whole stage area to enable the event to be broadcast. In addition there were 8 generators placed around the site to provide power for all the event support and logistics

ROYAL MARSDEN CANCER CHARITY ...
On March 11 2012 The Royal Marsden Hospital will see the second annual Marsden March, with 4,000 people getting sponsored to walk the 14 miles between our Chelsea and Sutton hospitals Alex Burrow events will be managing the event and ethix will once again offer their services to the event by supplying sound and electrical services for the charity event It promises to be a fun day out for all the family, with different routes designed to appeal to all ages and levels of walker. All funds raised go directly to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, so why not ask your family members, work colleagues or some of your best friends if they will get their walking boots on and join you for a day of fundraising and walking fun. SIR JOHN CASS FOUNDATION ...
The Foundation is one of London's oldest and largest education charities. Founded in 1748, it supports education for young people under the age of 25 in inner London through its grant programs for individuals, schools and organisations, and its support for a number of institutions bearing Sir John Cass's name. For the fourth year running Ethix are providing a full AV service for the founder’s day celebration at Aldgate church on 3rd February.
BLISSFUL ST PATRICK'S DAY ...
Bliss events won the tender for the St Patrick’s day celebrations and we are again working for Anne Mclellan to supply a full technical service for the event that will be held in Trafalgar square on the 18th March. The event will host some of Irelands top talent and traditional Irish food and of course “ The Guinness bar”
KUNG HEI FAT CHOI ...
A very happy New Year to all of our clients and with Chinese New Year now upon us, we once again have just worked with Dick Tee and his team of Mick heath and Amy Hamsworth to supply the sound, Lighting, power and video projection for the year of the Dragon celebrations across central London. With Stages in Trafalgar square and Dean Street Soho, This year was a spectacular not to be missed. The creative direction of Sean Canning and the event pyrotechnics being supplied by the world famous made this a truly memorable start to the year of the dragon Over 20 000 people joined the festive celebrations in Trafalgar Square and an estimated 250 000 across the west end of London. This year saw a live web uplink broadcast to various venues across London for the VIP events being held in the venues for the Chinese community.
NEW YEAR PROSPERITY ...
On behalf of all the staff at Ethix we would like to wish all of or clents and suppliers a very prosperous new year and look forward to working with you all well into 2012. LONDON CHANUKAH CELEBRATIONS ...
The Jewish leadership council had a 9 metre Menorah installed in central London for the Jewish festival of lights. For the third year running Ethix provided sound lighting and power for the event which was attended by over 5000 peolpe and was hosted by senior menbers of thje Jewish community. Mayor Boris Johnson was invited to speak at the event which is funded by the GLA.
PUBLIC SECTOR RALLY EMBANKMENT ...
Victoria Embankment was the venue for a mass rally of public sector workers in London. The march started at Lincoln's inn fields and finishing on Victoria embankment. Ethix provided sound and power for both sites and provided sound the length of Victoria embankment so the 35 000 strong crown were able to hear the guest speakers at the rally
BIG ISSUE NIGHT WALK ...
The big issue held a night walk in September and Ethix help support this event with Alex Burrow events The 15 mile route took in London's most iconic landmarks and offered rest stops at some great venues with a historical connection to homelessness. Walkers were even treated to a music gig along the way! Ethix Provided production for the halfway venue ay Conway hall Holborn for the walkers Whilst resting and taking refreshments
NATIONAL TRUST BELTON ...
Belton house was the location for the Royal Philharmonic Concert orchestra and Ethix worked alongside Midas generators to provide sound for the 5000 strong crowd. Star events provided the 15 Metre Morbit which the 65 piece orchestra. The event opened with a fly by from the RAF and two spitfires.
Legoland Festival ...
Legoland Windsor staged their annual pass holder’s festival with and attendance of 8000, Ethix provided a complete production package of sound, lighting and power. This is the fourth year Ethix supplied the event, which is headlined by BBC children’s TV presenter Justin Fletcher.
ELIZABETH STREET FESTIVAL ...
June saw Ethix provide a full event management and production of the Elizabeth street festival. The event involves the road closure of the street and surrounding area to enable a large scale street party which has now been running for over ten years. The event helps raise monies for charities and this years chosen charity was help for heroes.
MAGIC FM ...
Radio station Magic FM staged a picnic for 100 lucky winners and SML events managed the event. Ethix provided sound and power across the Potters field as well as a noise monitoring service due to the noise sensitive surrounding areas.
THAMES FESTIVAL FEAST ON THE BRIDGE ...
For the second year running Ethix have provided a full production management for the event. This year saw a record 10 000 people visit the bridge festival which is closed on Friday night and all the infrastructure is installed for the Saturday event. Then removed to enable the bridge to be open to traffic at 06.00am on the Sunday.
JOHN LEWIS ...
As an extension of the Partners in Sport programme John Lewis hosted a free community sports event in Cavendish Square. The aim of the event was to reach out to the local community and encourage health awareness and participation in sport. Alex Burrow events managed the event and Ethix Management supplied the technical infrastructure for the event including the power and sound systems across the Cavendish square site
APTN NEWS ...
Green Park was the location of Associated press television studios and Ethix provided the news broadcaster with lighting and power distribution for their studios opposite Buckingham palace during the royal wedding. In addition to the site, a media platform outside Westminster was supplied with lighting and dimming control for the live positions for the day of the wedding.
THIRD YEAR RUNNING FOR HOLLAND HOUSE ...

A BUSY ST PATRICKS DAY ...
Bliss events provided the complete site management and Ethix worked alongside them to provide a full production package of sound lighting and power for the event in Trafalgar Square on15th March. The event was attended by over 10,000 people.

Trafalgar Square Unveil ...
Ethix worked with bliss events once again in Trafalgar square on behalf of the Sir Keith Park memorial Foundation to provide full technical services for the 4th plinth unveil on 4th november. Sir Keith Park was a senior commander of the Royal Air Force Sector 11 Squadrons (11 Group), who defended London and the South East of England during the Battle of Britain in the summer of 1940.

Ethix has recently purchased a Soundcraft Vi6 and full DSP with 96 channels of audio. After looking at the market and asking our existing customers what would benefit them the most The soundcraft desk was the obvious choice. due to the popularity of the desk we are now looking to purchase a new Vi4 in the autumn
CHINESE NEW YEAR 2011 ...
Celebrations for Chinese New Year took place in London on February 6th across three sites from Shaftsbury Avenue to Trafalgar Square. Dick Tee took control of the production and Ethix were asked to provide sound, lighting and power across the three sites. Ethix used microwave technology to transfer the whole ceremony into Leicester Square and Shaftsbury Avenue so the whole event could be watched around the various sitesAn estimated 250 000 people enjoyed a mixture of Chinese culture throughout the day. There was a mobile stage provided by Star events group which held the main celebrations and Ethix provided the sound across the whole site and for the 15,000 people in attendance in Trafalgar Square.
BRICK LANE MELA ...
Organised by Tower Hamlets Council, A Baishakhi Mela in Banglatown Brick Lane attracted a record breaking 120,000 revellers to the festivities, the largest celebration of the Bengali New Year outside of Bangladesh. Ethix provided sound and lighting for all the stages at the Mela in the east end of London. The event has grown to occupy two site and Ethix have been working for Tower hamlets for 8 years to provide the complete technical production of the event.
CLIVEDON ROCKS (AGAIN) ...
Ethix provided the stage lighting and site power for the two day music festival at Clivedon house on 1-2 August. The event was the most successful Clivedon has seen and the Saturday night was sold out despite the ENGLISH WEATHER
ETHIX IN IBIZA ...
Ethix have just provided set lighting, electrical and Logistical services for IMG media. The brief was for a poker game televised with the chance to win a place in the World Series poker in Las Vegas with £40K spending money .The event was staged over a week and filmed in Santa Eularia.
ETHIX PURCHASE NEW LINE ARRAY SYSTEM ...
At the start of the oncoming summer season Ethix purchased a new line array 24 box system. After evaluating several systems the company decided on a Electrovoice XLC DVX system. Ethix has developed a good relationship withEV and when the system became available the company decided to purchase, after using the system for several events leading up to Christmas.

The G8 summit in L Aquila was the destination for Ethix as we provided structures and technical support for Associated Press during the meeting of world leaders In July.Additional equipment was sub hired in from Steldeck rentals and then freighted along with all the equipment required by the broadcaster.
COLCHESTER PARTY IN THE PARK ...
Ethix Provided a complete package of sound and lighting for the second year at party in the park Colchester. Don Quinn whose company snake in the grass have put the event on for the last 5 years said This year was by far the best ever with Capacity crowds watching a 3 day event of tribute and local bands
FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT LAUNCH ...
Once again Fairtrade fortnight started with an event across London’s south bank. The event helps promote Fairtrade products and the chance to sample them. The event is also sees some of the various producers give seminars on the benefits of Fairtrade. Ethix were pleased to be asked once again to provide site power and employed the services of Midas generators who supplied their bio diesel sets to ensure a zero emission in relation to the power used on site. Ethix also provided the sound across the whole site and radio systems for the event seminars.
ETHIX IN UGANDA ...
Ethix went to Uganda for the Commonwealth heads of government meeting in November. We provided sound and lighting facilities in the newly built media centre and provided full support back up throughout the whole meeting and ceremony which was attended by the Queen and the 53 heads of state
HAYWARD HEATH AND NEW 15M MORBIT ...
Star events provided their new Morbit stage for three days of concerts in Victoria Park in July. Ethix provided the production management and complete sound and lighting package as well as providing the generated power for the site. Ethix used the EX XLC system to get the coverage needed for the 8000 attendees. The Pa was flown from the unique Morbit Hiab system which eliminates the need for motors and Pa can simply be lifted from the floor once fully assembled in seconds. Katherine Jenkins supported by a 70 piece orchestra was the highlight of three days of concerts
CHANUKAH IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE ...
Ethix provided the installation lighting for a 9 metre menorah installed for Chanukah in December. GLASTONBUDGET FESTIVAL ...
Ethix supplied a complete production package for the fourth year running at the Glastonbudget festival May bank holiday. The event saw three days of tribute acts on four stages. Ethix provided the sound lighting and complete power infrastructure for the whole site.
HYDE PARK PANORAMA EVENT ...
Ethix provided the sound, Lighting and site power for the Panorama event in Hyde Park. The event is part of the Notting hill carnival which takes all the competing steel bands and showcases them to find an all out winner for carnival. The event was produced by innovision and site managed by Alex Burrow.
DOUBLE EVENT WEEKEND IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE ...
Ethix provided a weekend of entertainment in Trafalgar square for Bliss events. The two day event saw two different events taking place. The first on Saturday celebrating the week of peace concert and the Sunday saw the Jewish festival of Simca watched by thousands in the square.
RED BULL NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL ...
Red Bull once again brought their Vert ramp stage to Notting Hill only this time having a dancefloor to accomodat the breakmasterz who entertained the crowds throughout the bank hoilday celebrations. Ethix Provided technical support for the sound and lighting and installed a Nexo Geo s rig. The site electrics were also provided by Ethix . Bliss events provided production management for the site whom which Ethix have been working and developing their skills to offer a first class service to the event industry.
NEW DIGITAL DESK PURCHASES ...
Ethix have recently purchased new Yamaha M7CL 48 Channel mixing desks in order to be able to offer our client base an even wider choice of professional audio equipment. The new digital desks make set up for outdoor events quicker and more efficient. Where numerous bands play in succession the desks can be pre programmed with all the bands requirements prior to the event and then simply recalled for the performance.
St George's Day celebrations in Trafalgar Square ...
Bliss events staged a unique Saint Georges day celebration in Trafalgar Square in conjunction with City of Westminster council. Ethix provided the generated power and sound for the ten metre screen which played Monty pythons Holy Grail after the world record for a coconut orchestra was made with over 5000 people taking part. Terry Jones and Terry Gillan compered the event with the cast of the west end musical Spamalot helping along to make a fantastic day in the square.
STOP CLIMATE CHAOS TRAFALGAR SQUARE ...
Ethix Management provided sound, lighting and bio diesel generators for the Climate chaos rally in Trafalgar square, which an estimated 25,000 people attended and showed their support. The event was hosted by Channel four presenter Simon Amstell and bands supporting Climate were Razorlight and KT Tunstall who performed for the crowd

The event was produced by Bliss events and Star Events provided a 15 Metre mobile stage.
